How to use Bath Salts and the Hot Springs in Hades 2

Hades 2 has got a little more steamy than its previous entry by introducing a whole new system of interaction with the various NPCs. When you unlock and use the Crossroads Hot Springs in Hades 2, a sprinkling of Bath Salts can go a long way to winning favor.

How to unlock the Hot Springs in hades 2

The Crossroads Hot Springs can be unlocked by using the Cauldron in Hades 2. You can add it to the crossroads by combining two Moly, two Nightshade, and two Lotus using the Rite of Vapor-Cleansing incantation. You will also be given one instance of Bath Salts.

What to do with the Crossroads Hot Springs

The Hot Springs are a way to not only pass the time but also increase your affinity with certain characters. Almost all the NPCs hanging around the Crossroads can be invited to join you in the lovely warm bath.

It will increase your friendship, but you will have to charm them into it first. Once your friendship is high enough, you can invite them in. Using the Hot Springs in Hades 2 will also pass 12 turns, perfect if you’re waiting for something to grow.

Who to use Bath Salts on

Each character in the Crossroads can be invited into the Hot Springs, provided your friendship is high enough. You can raise this by giving each one differing amounts of Nectar. Each one will require

• Hecate – 2 Nectar.
• Nemesis – 3 Nectar, 1 Twin Lines, 1 Nectar.
• Odysseus – 1 Nectar.
• Dora – 1 Nectar.
• Moros – 2 Nectar.
• Eris – 3 Nectar.

Fishing with the characters can also increase your affinity with them. You simply have to buy yourself a fishing rod from the tools list. This will then help you get a little closer to taking a dip in the Crossroads Hot Springs in Hades 2.

Once you have raised their friendship high enough, simply gift them Bath Salts. These can be bought from the Wretched Broker or dug up from various points in your runs.
