Silver is an important resource in Hades 2 that can allow you to unlock a plethora of items, but how can you farm it? If you’re low on Silver or don’t know where to find it, here’s what to do.
Hades 2: How to farm Silver
Once you begin your journey, Silver will pop up as a material required to unlock items like weapons. You can get Silver in Hades 2 by unlocking the Crescent Pick through the Night’s Craftwork Incantation.
Currently, I’ve only found Silver ore throughout Erebus, which is the first dungeon in Hades 2. You can spot this ore by its glowing light blue aura, it’s hard to miss. But without a specific tool, you’ll be unable to mine it.
Play a few runs until you unlock the ability to use the cauldron in Crossroads. This will allow you to unlock Incantations, which are permanent unlockables. Night’s Craftwork only costs one Moly and it will reveal Gathering Tools in the Silver Pool.
Once you cast this Incantation, head to the Silver Pool and you’ll find a new section of Gathering Tools. One of them is the Crescent Pick which only takes one Ash to unlock. Wielding this tool while adventuring through Erebus will allow you to mine Silver ore veins. Unfortunately, you cannot target-farm Silver since it shows up in rooms randomly.
The only way to farm Silver is to wield your pick and explore Erebus to its fullest extent by keeping an eye out for Silver ore. It’s best to also unlock the Incantation Reagent Sensing since you’ll be alerted after encounters about valuable resources within the area.
Each ore vein allows you to mine a few Silver, so after a few runs you should be able to gather a good amount of this resource. As we’re still venturing through Hades 2 ourselves, there could be some Arcana Card or Incantation that aids you with finding Silver ore. We’ll update you if we find out more ways to farm Silver.
