No matter how careful you are in Gray Zone Warfare, you’re going to get shot. A lot. To prepare for the inevitable, you should stock up on medical supplies to treat any conditions that you become afflicted with after a deployment.
No matter what you need, Lab Rat‘s your go-to girl for medical supplies and healing items in Gray Zone Warfare. She sells everything from Bandages to Splints to all factions for just a few dollars, so it’s worth buying in bulk just in case. These medical supplies are surprisingly versatile and can remedy multiple ailments, so there’s no harm in buying a bunch.
How Healing Works in Gray Zone Warfare
Gray Zone Warfare doesn’t have a traditional HP system like other shooters. Instead, there are four types of injuries that you can sustain after taking damage.
- Wounds (Red)
- Bruises (Purple)
- Damaged Organs
- Broken Bones
When you open the health menu in Gray Zone Warfare to assess your situation after a firefight, these are the things that you should be looking at. Mouse over the icons to see what exactly is ailing you and then apply the appropriate treatment to change the icon to green, indicating a treated wound. Treated wounds still take time to fully heal, so you’ll be stuck with certain debuffs for a few minutes even if you apply the correct medicine.
Blood loss also plays a large role in your health, so pay attention to your blood meter and use a Blood Bag if you need to quickly restore it. Blood naturally regenerates as long as your character is hydrated and fed, so drink water and eat some food after sustaining injuries to nurse yourself back to health.

Remember that healing doesn’t happen automatically when you return to your faction’s base camp in Gray Zone Warfare. You still need to use your personal healing supplies from your stash or purchase whatever you need from Lab Rat. If you find that medicine is a bit too expensive, then try completing tasks for Lab Rat to level up your vendor reputation.
