Hopefully, you don’t do so face-first. Anyway, here is how to land in the Gondola on Rebirth Island in Warzone Resurgence.
Warzone: How to land in the Gondola on Rebirth Island
The Blaze Up event will have us do some feats that will require a lot of skill, luck, and a mind to come up with these in a “relaxed” state if you know what I mean. One of the particularly iconic challenges during the Blaze Up event is challenge number 5, which will have us land on top of the Gondola on Rebirth Island. Note: you can also choose to complete Zombies or Multiplayer alternatives, but why spoil the fun?
The challenge is pretty straightforward: landing on top of the Gondola will be our objective. The Gondola connects two areas of Rebirth Island that are located right at the center of the map: the Prison and the Harbor.
Landing in the Gondola on Rebirth Island
As you will see, this Gondola will move up and down, making your landing a bit more difficult than it may seem. Not only that, you will have to land on the Gondola itself, not on the cable right above it – that is, where the cable sheaves are located. This means that you will have to tune your landing well both in speed and accuracy.
I would strongly recommend that you choose to land in the Gondola when it stops at either the Prison or the Harbor station. It will remain there for a couple of seconds before resuming its course.
However, since you won’t be the only one attempting to land in the Gondola, be sure to not overuse your parachute since you will be a very easy target to shoot at. Instead, try to use the speed of your fall as much as you can before deploying your parachute. In my case, I was defeated right at the last second before landing, but since I was down and not killed, it did count toward the challenge completion.
Remember that you can attempt this when you first infil or when you redeploy, so as long as your squad is still alive in Resurgence, then you will have several chances to land the, well, landing in the Gondola on Rebirth Island. And since we are jumping from a “high” spot, why not collect some of the gummies the High Trip event is offering or even use the Cheech and Chong skins? It would certainly make the landing a lot more smooth.
