All cave locations in Scorched Earth — Ark Survival Ascended

Rock and stone! Oh... wrong game.

There are six caves in the Scorched Earth map for Ark Survival Ascended, each with resources, enemies, and maybe some secrets. These can be pretty hard to find, so to save hours of exploring, let’s get straight to their coordinates.

These caves are filled with danger, although will be worth the effort to grab all three Artefacts. Make sure you’ve got good armor and a dependable mount to make it out alive.

Lava Cave location

The Lava Cave in Ark Survival Ascended is of moderate size with no inhabitants. Both lava and water flows within, cutting up the floor.

The entrance is located at the bottom of the World Scar, at these coordinates:
Latitude 59
Longitude 16

It will be difficult to descend to the bottom whilst being chased by Wyverns, so using the Lymantria to escape the Wyverns is a good idea.

Crystal Cave location

The Crystal Cave is a gorgeous new cave that features a grand and glowing crystal. There is an air pocket inside for you to hitch up if you enjoy the view.

The entrance is located just south of the Red Obelisk, under the water. Head straight down when you get to the end of the body of water at these coordinates:
Latitude 73.4
Longitude 40.1

You’ll want to make sure you’ve got decent diving gear before heading down, however.

Mountain Cave location

The Mountain Cave is expansive and rich with resources — and enemies. Many of the usual critters will be after you when you step foot in this cave. Notably, Silica can be found in these waters.

You can find the entrance clear in the rock face when you go to these coordinates:
Latitude 28
Longitude 29.2

Make sure to bring some decent armor and weapons, and preferably a good mount to keep the other creatures at bay.

Red Obelisk Cave location

Less of a cave and more of a passage with some cool arches, the Red Obelisk “Cave” doesn’t have much of anything in it.

You will see the cave just beyond the ancient structures at these coordinates:
Latitude 72.6
Longitude 35.2

Despite being bland, it could make for a decent base, only having two entrances to defend.

Canyon Cave location

The Canyon Cave is very expansive and houses lots of danger. There are many resources to be gained, but just make sure not to get lost in its many twists and turns.

The Canyon Cave can be found on the platform just underneath the surface, at these coordinates:
Latitude 58.8
Longitude 47.8

The first time I tried to look for this cave I mistook the entrance as the ground thanks to some shoddy lighting. Make sure to go right up to the “wall,” and the entrance will become obvious.

Church Cave location

The Church Cave is one of the biggest caves in Scorched Earth, and it is full of flora and fauna. It’s as dangerous as it is gorgeous and would make for decent lodgings.

The entrance to the Church Cave can be found, funnily enough, in the dilapidated church, at these coordinates:
Latitude 78.9
Longitude 76.1

Also, be concerned about and prepared for the temperature fluctuations.

Some of these caves make for fantastic base locations, so bring some resources if you want to pitch up.
