How to unlock the Ring of Mercy

The Ring of Mercy is unlockable through your Technology tree in Palworld. You simply need to reach level 19 and have 2 Ancient Technology points, and it’s all yours. Once you have unlocked it through the Technology tree, you can build it with 30 Ingots, 20 Paldium Fragments, and five Ancient Civilization Parts.

Once you have built the Ring of Mery in Palworld, it can be used over and over again. You won’t need to keep building more. Simply build it once, and you can ensure you never kill another Pal again.

What does the Ring of Mercy do?

This wearable in Palworld works similarly to Mercy Hit on Pals. You can find various Pals in Palworld with Mercy Hit as a passive skill. This skill means that no matter what you throw at an enemy, you will never drop its health below one.

This skill is fantastic if you are looking to catch certain pals without killing them outright. The new Ring of Mercy in Palworld means that you can use a powerful Pal, and they will never kill opposing enemies. If you are looking to capture pals, especially weak ones, this is a good item to be wearing. I often had a problem in the past with absolutely obliterating enemies with overpowered Pals.

Mercy Hit can be bred into Pals, but constructing the Ring of Mercy is a much simpler way to ensure you play the pacifist in Palworld. With the Ring of Mercy, you won’t be able to drop health below 1HP, which is the prime point at which to throw your PalSphere to catch it. You want them to be as weak as they possibly can be before attempting a catch.

With this ring on, you can also really go to town on the much more overpowered enemies. Now, you can rest assured they will be as weak as possible before throwing your stronger PalSpheres their way.
