There are six Duospears in Dragon’s Dogma 2, some way stronger than others and available late game. Here are our picks for the 6 best Duospears in the game.

6. Infernal Edge

The Infernal Edge is one of the best Duospears in Dragon’s Dogma 2, with moderate stats that are great for early and mid-game. Infernal Edge comes equipped with fire blades, allowing players to deal additional damage by burning their enemies.

The Infernal Edge is fairly simple to acquire and can be obtained early in a playthrough. To obtain it, complete the Tolled to Rest side quest and reach the second floor of the Ancient Battlegrounds, where you can find it in a chest.

  • Magick: 199
  • Slash: 100
  • Strike: 0
  • Knockdown Power: 219
  • Element: 50% Fire
  • Debilitation: None

5. Wings Asunder

Wings Asunder is one of the best Duospears in the game and hands down the coolest-looking one. The in-game description mentions, “The curved blades resemble imperious beaks, and are no less deadly than their monstrous counterparts.” This describes the Griffin, and it’s accurate since Wings Asunder can deal as much damage as the giant flying bird.

Wings Asunder can be acquired in several ways. First, it is located in a chest inside Rocky Lair in Battahl. If you want to get it earlier, you can purchase it from Grisha’s Armory in Sacred Arbor or Awaran’s Arms in Bakbattahl.

  • Strength: 288
  • Magick: 288
  • Slash: 100
  • Strike: 0
  • Knockdown Power: 235
  • Element: None
  • Debilitation: None

4. Soul of Antiquity

At this point in the list, we start to get into the Duospears that are fit for the late game of Dragon’s Dogma 2. The Soul of Antiquity has Magick and Strength base stats in the 300s, which is high enough to rip any small enemy to shreds while also doing phenomenally against larger beasts.

Players looking to obtain the Soul of Antiquity can purchase it from Awaran’s Arms in Bakbattahl for 45800 gold. If you are brave enough to enter Bakbattahl before getting a pass to acquire this Duospear early, go for it.

  • Strength: 326
  • Magick: 326
  • Slash: 100
  • Strike: 0
  • Knockdown Power: 227
  • Element: None
  • Debilitation: None

3. Dead Ringer

If you are prepping to take on the “true ending” of Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll want to claim the Dead Ringer Duospear. Dead Ringer is strong enough for the boss rush you’ll encounter in the Unmoored World, with its base Magick and Strength stats being mid-300s. Also, the Knockdown Power is 275, helping knock down giant beasts to the floor.

There are a few ways players can acquire the Dead Ringer Duospear. Lesser Dragons, although very rare, have a chance to drop it, and it can also be acquired at Volcanic Island Armory in Volcanic Island Camp.

  • Strength: 355
  • Magick: 355
  • Slash: 100
  • Strike: 0
  • Knockdown Power: 275
  • Element: None
  • Debilitation: None

2. Rhewynt

The Rhewynt is a special Duospear in Dragon’s Dogma 2 due to its high stats—just under 400—and its ability to inflict ice damage. I can’t stress enough how helpful the Ice element can be against larger enemies. It causes them to freeze in place, opening up the opportunity to wail on them and deal tons of damage. Ice is hands down my favorite element in Dragon’s Dogma 2, so I highly recommend the Rhewynt Duospear.

Players must wait until the endgame to get the Rhewynt Duospear. Once you reach the endgame, this powerful weapon can be purchased from Rodrick’s, Grisha’s, Celeste’s, Awaran’s, and Brokkr’s Smithys.

  • Strength: 380
  • Magick: 380
  • Slash: 100
  • Strike: 0
  • Knockdown Power: 261
  • Element: 50% Ice
  • Debilitation: None

1. Lindworm Fang

Hands down, the best Duospear in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the Lindworm Fang. Not only does this weapon have base Magick and Strength stats in the 400s, but it also has a unique ability that increases its damage output the longer you attack without taking damage. You will tear any monster to bits with the Lindworm Fang.

Acquiring the Lindworm Fang in Dragon’s Dogma 2 will take some work. It can be purchased from the Bay Wayside Shrine for 110 Wyrmslife Crystals, a rare material dropped from Lesser Dragons and Drakes.

  • Strength: 430
  • Magick: 405
  • Slash: 100
  • Strike: 0
  • Knockdown Power: 283
  • Element: None
  • Debilitation: None

I have a good feeling your Mystic Spearhand will stand its own if you equip any of the Duospears mentioned in this guide. That said, having a good weapon isn’t the only important part of maximizing the Mystic Spearhand’s potential. Check out our best Mystic Spearhand build to make your character more deadly.
