The new cooperative horror hit Content Warning sends you and your friends into perilous situations just like Lethal Company, but the goal in this game is to make money from clickbait Spooktube videos.

When you first start in Content Warning, the game tells you to film something scary. You only have three days to reach your Spooktube view goals, and more viewers means more ad revenue that you can use to buy equipment. “Film something scary” isn’t a helpful starting point though, since Content Warning doesn’t explain how your footage translates into views at the end of the day.

What Should You Film in Content Warning?

Put simply, any footage from the old world in Content Warning will earn you views and get you some minor ad revenue. However, you’ll need to film scary content if you want to make any real money.

Monsters are the main target for your Spooktube videos, so seek them out and try to record them from a safe distance. Use the zoom function on the camera to capture footage from afar and don’t forget to flip to the selfie cam when the monster inevitably starts chasing you. Monster footage will get you the most views and, in turn, make you the most money.

Random items like skulls, spines, and ribcages also count as scary things in Content Warning, so be sure to film them if you find any. You can pick up bones and carry them as props, too, which will boost the fear level of your footage.

On a good day, you can earn over a hundred dollars in ad revenue from your uploaded Spooktube video if your footage is scary enough. Remember to conserve the camera’s energy and only record something if it’s frightening. The monsters will change every time you descend into the old world, so you’ll need to be prepared for anything.
