How to get both rewards in Hunt for the Jadeite Orb quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2

Get two for the price of one!

The deeper I get into Dragon’s Dogma 2, the more I’m starting to realize the game wants you to figure out things on your own. A quest called Hunt for the Jadeite Orb is a good example of this.

At first, you may think the quest only has one option. I’m here to tell you otherwise. To learn how to get both rewards in Hunt for Jadeite Orb quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, this guide can make it an easy task to do.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: How to get both rewards in Hunt for Jadeite Orb quest

When I first found out about this quest, I thought there was one way to do it. However, when I found the orb, I held on to it with the hopes of earning both rewards. Thankfully, my curiosity was well rewarded.

Before going on, make sure you have enough gold with you. This quest can be quite expensive to complete. On the other hand, try to get a discount. This way, you won’t need to grind for more gold if you’re short.

How to get all the rewards for handing in the Jadeite Orb

The first thing you want to do is be in Venvorth and take an ox ride to Checkpoint Rest Town. You can walk there, but I highly recommend taking the ox rather. I was attacked so much that I almost gave up. If you choose to hitch a ride, the destination will automatically be the town.

Once you arrive at the Checkpoint Rest Town, there will be an NPC named Offuvle. He’ll explain he needs to find the orb to sell, which is what you’ll be tasked with finding. As you head more into town, there will be another NPC named Everand, who will also want the orb. So the issue here is that you have to pick — not really.

After you talk to Everand about the orb, you may be thinking that you have to go out and find it. That’s what my thought process was. However, there will be a shopkeeper who goes by Ibrahim. You’ll be able to buy a single orb from here. Since you can only purchase one, you have the option to duplicate the orb at around 2000 gold.

Collecting the rewards

For this next part, make sure you follow along correctly. I messed up at this point, which caused me to reload my game. With two orbs in tow, one fake and one real. Give the real one to Everand. He’ll need to authenticate it, so follow him when he asks you do to so.

Once he finds out it’s real, you’ll be rewarded by him. With the fake one, make your way back to the entrance of the town where Offuvle is waiting. Give him the fake orb, and then you’ll get a reward for him.

If you notice hands in your quest log, you may be puzzled like I was. Our guide can break down what they are and how to understand them.
