While some resources can be easily found across the Lightyear Frontier map, others are more challenging. One of the harder resources to find in the game is Noxious Pods, so read further for information on locating them.
Where to find Noxious Pods in Lightyear Frontier
Players can find Noxious Pods in two ways in Lightyear Frontier. The first is clearing Noxious waste (pinkish liquid) around the game world. However, this method is less reliable than the second, as clearing Noxious waste doesn’t guarantee a pod.
The better way to get Noxious Pods in Lightyear Frontier is through Bubble Hazardous Events, which occur at your home base approximately every three to five days. Spraying the pink bubbles with your Irrigation Hose will cause Noxious Pods to fall to the ground, which you can collect.
It’s important to know that the pink bubbles during this Hazardous Event have the chance to explode on your base. If the bubbles burst, it’s not only possible to lose crops, but it also means you can’t collect any Noxious Pods. This is why being quick with your Irrigation Hose is essential.
How to use Noxious Pods in Lightyear Frontier
Noxious Pods are the main ingredient for Noxious Spores at the Grinder. This fact alone makes Noxious Pods a valuable resource, considering that Noxious Spores can be used to create a variety of decorations for your home base.
Here are some items you can craft with Noxious Spores:
- Strange Fence
- Strange Chair
- Strange Lamp
- Strange Fountain
These are just examples, and there are plenty more where that came from. If you want to focus on making your farm unique, I recommend collecting as many Noxious Pods as possible.
I always fill my irrigation hose immediately after it runs out of water, so I’m constantly prepared for when those pink bubbles appear. You should do the same so you can protect your farmland from dangerous chemicals and farm Noxious pods without hesitation.
