While there are quite a few easily missed quests and items in FF7 Rebirth, there eventually comes a point in the game where you can revisit old chapters. But if you’re more of a one-and-done kind of player, here are all the missable quests and items in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: All missable items and quests
If you’re worried about missing out on certain cutscenes, quests, or items in FF7 Rebirth, you’re in luck. Fortunately, it’s pretty difficult to miss anything in this game with the chapter selection feature unlocked after completing the main campaign. But what things are possible to miss? Here’s anything you may accidentally miss out on in FF7 Rebirth.
Missable items in FF7 Rebirth
While you can return to most locations in FF7 Rebirth, some aren’t accessible again until you replay that chapter section. As an example, you won’t want to miss out on any exclusive purchases from Upper Junon in Chapter 4, or the ferry you travel on to Costa Del Sol in Chapter 5.
Also, certain items are only available as rewards for completing minigames or side quests, which can be missable if you don’t complete them.
Missable Queen’s Blood cards
All Queen’s Blood cards come from either vendors or as rewards for beating players. The only Queen’s Blood cards I’d deem to be missable are the ones you receive as rewards from the Queen’s Blood tournament, which you cannot return to until you can revisit old chatpers.
Card | Location |
---|---|
Ifrit | Reward for winning Queen’s Blood tournament |
Terror of the Deep | Reward for winning Queen’s Blood tournament |
Missable accessories
Even if you miss accessories from the select few chapters with locations you’re unable to return to, you’ll still be able to find ways to either purchase or craft them, depending on your Craftsmanship level. Despite this, there are a few secret accessories only available by completing certain objectives or minigames.
Accessory | Location |
---|---|
Assess Materia Earrings | Reward for winning Queen’s Blood tournament |
Noble Thief’s Gloves | Complete Prison Tourney: Subterranean Terrors from the Beast Battlegrounds in the Dustbowl. |
Mythical Amulet | Reward for completing the “Promises to Keep” side quest in Cosmo Canyon. |
Tarot Cards | Reward for completing the “Absence of a Sign” side quest in Cosmo Canyon. |
Missable weapons
Luckily, nearly all weapons that you can find inside chests in FF7 Rebirth will become available through weapon vendors in case you missed them. But certain weapons are only available through side quests and minigames and are entirely missable if you don’t complete them.
Weapon | Character | How to get |
---|---|---|
Plumose Rod | Aerith | Complete “Lament of the Damned” side quest in Nibel region and enter Hojo’s secret laboratory for the chest with this weapon. |
Amethyst Collar | Red XIII | Complete “Of Robed Men and Randoms” side quest and open the chest in the Old South Corel Mine. |
Silver Collar | Red XIII | Win first place in the Run Wild minigame at Costa Del Sol. |
Fafnir Rifle | Barret | Reward for completing the quest “The Pursuit of Perfection”. |
Dragon Claws | Tifa | Win Rank 3 in the Desert Rush minigame in The Dustbowl. |
Crescent Sickle | Yuffie | Score 3,600 points in the Glide de Chocobo minigame during the side quest “Bonds of Trust” in Cosmo Canyon. |
Missable Materia
Most Materia is typically available either from Chadley or from Materia vendors, but there are a few unique Materia you can only get through missable side quests and minigames.
Materia | How to get |
---|---|
Gambler | Complete “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” side quest in Chapter 12 at the Gold Saucer. |
Gil Up | Trade 3000 GP at the Chocobo Race in the Gold Saucer. |
Binding | Achieve Rank A on Aerith’s Theme from the Piano minigame. |
HP <> MP | On the ground by the mako spring on your way to the reactor in Chapter 11. |
ATK <> MATK | Inisde Shinra Manor in the Mako Research Facility Section E4 during Chapter 11. |
Missable quests in FF7 Rebirth
Luckily, there are technically no missable quests in FF7 Rebirth! The only way you can miss certain quests is if they’re unlocked after completing another side quest. Side quests will slowly become available to you as you progress through the main story and unlock new regions. You can even fast travel between regions at certain points in the story as well.
Now that you have a good idea of what quests and items are missable in FF7 Rebirth, if you’re struggling to beat the Fort Condor stages, you’re not alone.
