Persona 3 Reload DLC roadmap: Episode Aigis release date and Expansion Pass details

Atlus made a surprise reveal from the Xbox Partner Preview on March 6. We now know about the DLC roadmap for Persona 3 Reload, alongside details for the Expansion Pass waves and Episode Aigis.

Episode Aigis release date for Persona 3 Reload

The trailer for Episode Aigis revealed itself first, which is a remake of “The Answer” DLC from Persona 3 FES. This follows the journey with Aigis and the other SEES members after the events of the main game. You get to play as Aigis, but this time you’ll be able to battle using multiple Personas.

There are even new Theurgy abilities incoming, which should spice up combat even more. Episode Aigis is described as the final chapter, arriving in September 2024. This wasn’t the only DLC revealed for Persona 3 Reload, since we not only got a release date for Episode Aigis, but details for the Expansion Pass roadmap.

Persona 3 Reload DLC Expansion Pass roadmap

Right after Episode Aigis, Atlus showcased the DLC Roadmap for the entire Expansion Pass coming in three separate waves. This Expansion Pass will release on Xbox and Windows, and it’ll be included with Game Pass Ultimate as well. There was no mention of it arriving on PlayStation 5, but I doubt that it won’t arrive on the PS5 at some point.

On March 12, Atlus will release Wave 1, which includes the Persona 5 Royal EX BGM Set and Persona 4 Golden EX BGM Set. This will allow you to swap out your background music for additional iconic soundtracks from Persona 5 and 4. Here are all the songs revealed to be arriving:

  • P5R EX BGM Set
    • I believe
    • Life Will Change
    • Beneath the Mask

Wave 2

Arriving sometime this May, we’ll receive a Velvet Costume & BGM Set. This will include outfits for your entire party that resemble Velvet Room attire, as well as more background music such as Battle Hymn of the Soul (Daisuke Asakura Remix).

Wave 3

Finally, in September, Episode Aigis (The Answer) will arrive as the final chapter of Persona 3 Reload. This wording seems to me like Atlus is trying to squash any rumors of Persona 3 Portable’s female protagonist ever making a reappearance.

Other than these new DLCs, there are other Persona 3 Reload DLCs still available to purchase. These new waves of DLC will simply add to the DLC we already have.
