Honkai Impact 3rd’s second major story arc has finally arrived with the Part 2 update, and Senadina is the first featured S-Rank character in Version 7.3. Her Deepspace Anchor: First Light Battlesuit is already among the best in the game, and she can make use of new Part 2-specific abilities on top of that.
As long as you’re at least Captain level 30, you can start Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2‘s main storyline and get introduced to Senadina and the new main cast. If you’re lucky enough to pull Senadina from the Battlesuit Supply, then Part 2’s new gacha changes make getting her Stigmata and weapon much easier than ever before.
Should You Pull for Senadina?
Senadina is absolutely worth pulling for in Honkai Impact 3rd. Whether you’re a veteran or a newcomer, Senadina is already one of the most useful units in the game. That’s especially true for new accounts that don’t have many characters at their disposal since Senadina is incredibly easy to build and can carry you through difficult content with other characters that are available for free.
Senadina Abilities
Senadina specializes in Lightning DMG and will be the star of your team if you pull her. After landing her Basic Attack combo, she’ll get the Thunderous Pulse buff which enhances her Skill. Without Thunderous Pulse, she’ll just pull herself toward an enemy with her yo-yo.
If Thunderous Pulse is active, however, her Skill will do 400% Lightning DMG and pull in nearby enemies. Landing the buffed Skill will make Senadina enter the Thunderous Blazar stat which enhances her Skill even further, making it do 1250% Lightning DMG. If it hits in this state, Thunderous Pulse will activate again and buff this Skill’s damage even more to 1600% with some cooldown reduction on top of that.

Her Ultimate ability is fairly straightforward, dealing 2,680% Lightning DMG and triggering invincibility and a Time-Frozen Domain. Essentially, Senadina’s main rotation involves landing her Basic Attack combo to enhance her Skill, using the enhanced Skill, and then repeating the process to maximize her Thunderous Blazar state. With a full Thunderous Blazar meter, you should be able to land two enhanced Skills before returning to normal (and you should swap to another character at this point to keep your combat rotation spinning).
If Senadina is the party leader, she can make use of the new Astral Ring mechanic added in Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2. This will boost elemental damage for the entire party as long as each member has the Domain Resonance tag (Coralie and Helia are perfect for this). The Astral Ring meter will fill up during combat just like Ultimate Energy, so it’s just another meter to juggle.
Best Weapon and Stigmata for Senadina
Senadina’s best gear is her featured weapon and Stigmata set, obtained from the Equipment Supply banner available alongside her. Normally, it wouldn’t be realistic to expect players to pull for weapons and Stigmata in addition to a new character, but Honkai Impact 3rd Part 2 has made the Equipment gacha much more forgiving.
Now, you’re guaranteed to get the featured weapon within 60 pulls and you’ll get the recommended Stigmata along the way. That means you’ll only need a maximum of 60 pulls to hit Pity and get Senadina’s best weapon guaranteed. This is what you’re looking for when pulling gear for Senadina:
- Weapon: Red Star Thunderbolt
- Stigmata (T): Helia: Joy
- Stigmata (M): Senadina: Scenery
- Stigmata (B): Coralie: Piano
The Red Star Thunderbolt synergizes well with Senadina’s kit, boosting overall Lightning DMG and dealing additional Lightning DMG via Lighting Traces. Her Stigmata boosts her overall DMG if you use the full Memorable Moment set, so much so that she gets bonus DMG buffs that other characters don’t get with this Stigmata set.
Since it’s so easy to get the weapon and Stigmata for Senadina after the Part 2 update, it’s recommended to just pull from the Equipment Supply banner until you get them. It’s not worth investing in other gear for Senadina since her Stigmata set and weapon are fine-tuned for her success. If you need more Crystals, you can always catch up on the Part 1 storyline if you missed out on it.
