Get infinite SP in Persona 3 Reload with these accessories, skills, and items

Never worry about running out of SP again.

Running out of SP while grinding in Tartarus is frustrating in Persona 3 Reload, but you can make things a whole lot easier with SP recovery accessories and certain Persona abilities. While it’s not as easy to recover SP as Persona 5, these items are still very much worth using.

How to Get SP Accessories in Persona 3 Reload

While Persona 3 Reload doesn’t have SP Adhesive or any of the super useful accessories from Persona 5, there are still a handful of accessories that will let you passively recover SP every turn.

The first SP recovery accessory you can get in Persona 3 Reload is the Felt Doll, obtained by completing a missing person request that becomes available on October 21. Once you reach the 21st of October, you can rescue Maiko Oohashi from floor 146 of Tartarus and receive the Felt Doll as a reward. The Felt Doll grants you Invigorate 1, which is a passive ability that regenerates three SP at the start of your turn. This only works for the person who has the item equipped, so your party members will still need to recover their SP with items.

The second SP recovery accessory in Persona 3 Reload is much harder to get. You can get the Sorcerer’s Mark by completing Request #80 for Elizabeth, which requires you to show her around Gekkoukan High. This request only becomes available after completing 70 other requests, however, so it won’t be accessible until very late in the game. The Sorcerer’s Mark grants the wearer Invigorate 2, which recovers 5 SP per turn.

How to Get Spirit Drain in Persona 3 Reload

While you can’t get SP accessories until much later in Persona 3 Reload, you can get some useful skills very early in the game that allows for basically infinite SP recovery. Spirit Drain is a Persona ability that drains SP from enemies to restore yours.

You can teach a Persona Skill Drain using a Skill Card obtained from Tartarus. This Skill Card can drop on any floor of Tartarus, even the first few levels. It can show up in Shuffle Time as a tier three sword card, so make sure you select any Shuffle Time cards that have three red swords on them. These are very rare and usually only show up after defeating powerful red shadows, so get ready to grind.

To make the grind easier, save your game before fighting a red shadow. They’ll give you the Shuffle Time card you need if you defeat them, and if you don’t get Spirit Drain, you can just reload your save and fight them again to get different rewards. Once you obtain the Skill Card, you can duplicate it at Naganaki Shrine to teach it to multiple Personas.

If you’d rather go the fusion route, then Naga learns Spirit Drain at level 22. You can fuse Naga as early as level 17, and if you level up the Hermit Social Link, you can get a big enough XP boost to have it learn Spirit Drain as soon as possible. Naga can be fused with the following Persona combinations:

  • Ara Mitama + Nigi Mitama
  • Pixie + Rakshasa
  • Nekomata + Berith
  • Angel + Neko Shogun
  • Jack Frost + Berith
  • Jack-o-Lantern + Berith
  • Forneus + Pisaca
  • Archangel + Picasa
  • Oberon + Picasa
  • Slime + Mokoi
  • Tam Lin + Valkyrie

Where to Buy SP Items in Persona 3 Reload

Finally, you can get SP recovery items before visiting Tartarus at a special store. Mayoido Antiques at Paulownia Mall lets you trade rare gems for SP recovery items like Snuff Soul, but the shop doesn’t open until July 18. Before then, your only options when it comes to buying SP items are the vending machines scattered across the city. You can find a few vending machines in the Student Dormitory, and you’ll find more of them while exploring different areas after school.
