What is the Rogue Signal event in Warzone?

The Rogue Signal is a public event that affects every player on the map, similar to a Fire Sale and Jailbreak. This event can start randomly in your Warzone matches and offers a new way to compete with your fellow Operators. At the time of writing, this event only seems to appear on Fortune’s Keep in the Resurgence game mode. This public event offers players the chance to earn a High Value Weapon Cache, provided they win the event.

How to win the Rogue Signal event in Warzone

As it’s a public event, the Rogue Signal shows up with a banner across the screen.

Once active, every player on the map can see the Rogue Signal mission, which has a different objective each time. Objectives range from a kill race to opening as many loot crates as possible.

In the image above, you can see a mission where the goal is to collect cash. You can also view your placement in the rankings. When the mission timer expires, the Rogue Signal will stop transmitting to all but the three highest-scoring teams.

The top three teams will receive a cash reward and the map location of a secret Weapon Cache. It’s a race to reach the stash; winner takes all. The catch is, the chances are your opponents are decent players, as they also made it into the top 3. You can expect a tough firefight at the Cache, so it’s up to you if you want to go or just take the money and run.

Fortune’s Keep is a small map, and running mindlessly to the Cache can kill you. Play smart, and try to spot other players who may have also earned the map location.

Season 2 has brought many updates with it, including guns and even a new Vest for multiplayer. Check out our guide on unlocking the Ninja Vest if you haven’t got your own yet.
