How to get the JAK Tyrant 762 Kit in MW3

The JAK conversion kits have a proven track record of turning powerful weapons into absolute monsters. These Kits are sometimes a little tricky to get but are usually worth it. Here’s how to obtain the JAK Tyrant 762 Kit in MW3.

How to unlock the JAK Tyrant 762 in MW3

The JAK Tyrant 762 Kit can be obtained by completing five challenges from the Week 1 selection. You can find these challenges at the bottom of the Event tab. You can choose to complete your tasks in Multiplayer, Zombies, or Battle Royale. The Multiplayer tasks will be the fastest, although you won’t have that option if you’ve not bought Modern Warfare 3. Some of the challenges are quite tricky, but as you only need five, here’s what I recommend focusing on in Multiplayer and Battle Royale:

• 20 Operator “1 shot 1 kills” with recommended Shotguns
• 30 Operator kills with suppressed recommended Marksman Rifles.
• 7 Operator Double kills with recommended Battle Rifles.
• 15 Operator Quickscope kills with recommended Sniper Rifles.
• 5 Operator Longshot kills with an 8x or higher scope attached to a recommended weapon.

Most of these should be quite easy, although the Sniper Rifle tasks may be a pain if you don’t use them often. If you can’t land one-shot kills with a shotgun, I recommend using the Lockwood 680. Alternatively, you can try the Hardcore playlists, as players die much faster.

As the weapon type is unspecified, you can put an 8x scope on any weapon you like, including Assault Rifles. The HMW-20 Optic is a basic scope with a clean picture if you prefer automatic weapons. 

Best Battle Royale tasks to unlock the JAK Tyrant 762 

• Open 50 Loot Caches.
• Location-based challenges.
• Reach the top 10 five times.

The Battle Royale challenges are easy for week one, although they will take a while. You’ll open 50 Loot Caches through regular gameplay, and four challenges require killing ten players in specific locations.

You can swap one of the location-based missions for the top 10 tasks if you frequently make it to the end of your Battle Royale games.

What is a recommended weapon in MW3?

Recommended weapons frequently change and are labeled with an orange decal and flame icon. You can see them by scrolling through the weapon selection when creating a loadout.
