The developer behind the Xbox 360 and PC isometric blow-em-up title Cannon Fodder 3 has told IncGamers it will boast fully functional online play.
The game, based on the best-selling 1990’s series developed by Jon Hare and Sensible Software, is a title many would loved to have played online.
Russian developer Game Factory Interactive has now confirmed it is introducing online play to both the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
Speaking to IncGamers, project manager Oleg Lychaniy said: “The game will feature only one online mode, the coop-mode. It allows the maximum of four players to play simultaneously. The players will be able to play the campaign together or return to any locations which have already been completed to set new records and improve the stats.”
Asked if they plan to continue development of the game after release with DLC, Lychaniy replied: “Such possibility is being discussed.”
