Player figures out how to keep Pals on base second floors

What goes up doesn't have to come back down.

Pathing can be a frequent issue in Palworld, given how often Pals get stuck on objects or simply refuse to go where you ask. However, there is a way to keep Pals on base second floors.

Containing Pals to specific floors

Deleting the stairs would be simple enough. But then, how do you as the player find your way up there? You could use a flying Pal or the grappling gun, but it’s more time spent on navigation. Instead, you can build yourself makeshift stairs that aren’t compatible with the Pals’ pathing.

A trick discovered by AzrisK on Reddit, building a Wooden or Stone Triangular Wall at an angle so that it aligns like stairs will allow you to climb it like a ramp to another floor, but your Pals won’t follow you down. This is a great way to fix a lot of pathing issues that spring up when you let Pals free roam around the base. Of course, getting the triangular walls to cooperate within the building limitations may take some trial and error. But once you do, you have a ramp forever.

If you were to build a massive floor that contained everything Pals need — the Feed Box, Hot Springs, and Beds — hypothetically, with some fine-tuning, you would fix all possible pathing issues as long as the Pals don’t get stuck on furniture. Then just add what you wish for the Pal to work on within the floor. You could neatly separate kindling, generator, watering, and so on Pals as you see fit.

That’s the tip for how to keep Pals on the base second floors or higher. Excuse me as I ponder building a fuller second floor now. Will it fix some issues in your base if you try it, or is there another method you prefer?
