Maps Revealed For Battlefield 3’s ‘Back To Karkand’ Expansion

We’ve seen barely 30 seconds of actual Battlefield 3 footage, but EA is already laying on the pre-order bonuses and map pack details.
You probably noticed the text at the end of the previous trailer for the game, which noted that an expansion called ‘Back To Karkand’ would be free with every pre-order of the title’s ‘Limited Edition.’
Thanks to the Battlefield community manager over at EA’s forums, we now know which maps that add-on will contain. They are: Wake Island, Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula.
All are maps that have appeared in previous Battlefield titles, though this time they’ll be rendered in Battlefield 3’s new Frostbite engine.
