How to place stairs in buildings in Palworld

How many bases can you build in Palworld?

A home away from home.

Bases are an essential resource in any survival game, and Palworld is no exception. Bases function as a place to gather resources, store Pals, and respawn when the inevitable happens. However, the number of bases you can have is limited in Palword.

What is the base limit in Palworld?

Initially, you can only build one base. As you level up, you can eventually build up to three bases in Palworld. You can build a second base at level 10 and then a third at level 15. This is the limit of Palbox bases you can have on the map, so choose carefully.

I am defining a base as an area where you can place a Palbox, can access your Pal inventory, and respawn. If you just want to build a spot where you can drop resources and have a sleep, you can do that wherever. You can easily build a house, storage boxes, and a workbench anywhere. However, you won’t be able to respawn at there or put your pals to work.

The Palworld map has some pretty treacherous areas, including frozen climbs of the northern mountains and the burning deserts to the east. Building a Palbox base in these spots on the Palworld map wouldn’t be a bad idea. The base will result in some pretty easy respawns in an area with few Eagle Towers and a lot of high-level enemies.

Where to build your extra bases

Building a base as far from your first is the best idea. If, like me, you rushed into your first base, you’re going to want to plan your second and third a little smartly. I would opt for somewhere much more open, surrounded by calm and non-aggressive pals, and possibly on the edge of a high-level area.

Having an outpost located next to an area with some tough Pals and bosses in it will ensure that your resource collecting and Pal captures are easy to access. Also, when you die, you don’t have too far to go.
