Palworld has it all. From RPG elements like a full-fledged Technology tree to some base-building features, players have been provided several ways to interact with the bonkers world of Palworld. One of the aspects that you’re going to unlock as you level up is flying. Let’s go over the best mountable flying Pals.
Palworld: Best flying mounts
Most of the Pals in Palworld will provide some benefit. Flying will be extremely helpful for getting around the world, as there are countless biomes and other islands for players to explore.
However, some of these flying Pals will also be helpful for combat, as you can use their abilities while flying them. Below are some of the best flying to use.

- Astegon
- One of the most intimidating Pals in the game, Astegon is a Dark-dragon type that can deploy extremely powerful attacks while in the air. Astegon also will allow players to mine ore faster.
- Jetragon
- One of the staple Pals in the game, Jetragon is often compared to Salamence, and for good reason. While it’s a strong Pal in its own regard, the ability to use mounted missiles while flying Jetragon is amazing.
- Ragnahawk
- Next on our list is the fire-flying mount with an incredible name, Ragnahawk. Ragnahawk is nestled within the volcanic region of the Palworld map. If you’re looking to rain fire on enemies, this will be the Pal you’re going to seek out.
- Helzephyr
- Only found within the night, this flying Pal has similarities to Toothless from the How to Train your Dragon films over the years. Players can use the extremely viable Wings of Death partner skill, and it’s a staple for your party.
- Nitewing
- We feel it’s only right to put Nitewing on this list, as this will more than likely be the first flying mount you obtain in your journey in Palworld, and it’ll serve a fantastic purpose for the most part.
No matter what flying mount you obtain in Palworld, they all provide some benefit. It’s just a matter of finding the one that works best for your needs. The same could be said of Fire-type Pals. If you’re looking for the right Fire-type for you, why not read our Fire-type guide?
