Red Dead Redemption takes home 4 awards at the Game Developers Choice awards, Minecraft takes 3 (in addition to 2 from the IGF’s) and Molynuex is honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Last night saw the game industry get together and highlight those games which it itself thought the year’s best. Perhaps not surprisingly, Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption was the star of the shows, walking away with four victories; including Best Game and Best Technology.
Not far behind however was Mojang Specification’s Minecraft, which took home 3 awards for Innovation, Best Downloadable Game and Best Debut. Minecraft also nabbed two gongs in the Independet Games Festival awards.
Lionhead’s Peter Molynuex found himself collecting the Lifetime Achievement Award.
