The game won’t point you in any specific direction, but it’ll tell you to ask around for information. If you’re not getting anywhere and need help, here’s what to do.

“Missing Orphans” quest guide in Sovereign Syndicate

Although some of the other characters can ask around about these missing orphans, the main character who will probably learn most about their whereabouts is Atticus Daley. You’ll first hear about the missing orphans by reading the missing poster in the first area you find yourself in during Chapter One.

Choose the option to look into the orphans, and your first stop should be the Sacred Heart Orphanage. This is where Atticus also grew up. But don’t jump the gun just yet, you won’t be heading to the orphanage until a later Chapter (most likely Chapter Four).

Once you arrive at the orphanage to dig into your past, head upstairs and walk to the southern area of the second floor. You should spot a room that’s a small classroom. Inside is a child named Mimi, who you need to chat with and eventually question about the missing orphans.

Ask Mimi about Julie and Bertram, and you’ll get a little more intel. Somebody kidnapped the orphans, and you don’t know who. In an even later chapter, once you’re about to leave for Braxton Manor, ask Molly about the missing orphans. She’ll be inside the tavern at the docks.

Molly will let it slip that the orphans are being held at Braxton Manor. Once you make your way into Braxton Manor as Atticus, you’ll need to find the entrance to the basement at the back of the manor. You’ll inevitably need to head here if you fail the skill check required to enter the manor.

Enter through the wooden hatch at the back, and you’ll run into a suspicious scientist. Let the scene play out, and follow him to where you believe your mother is. After the scuffle happens with Sykes and you gain control of Atticus again, head to the cell door down the hall where you came from.

Interact with it, and you’ll notice that this is where the orphans are. To free them, they’ll mention that the scientist named Oddball has the key. He’s back in the room with the vat of acid. Either persuade or intimidate him into giving you the key, then use it to free the orphans.

That’s all you have to do to complete the “Missing Orphans” quest in Sovereign Syndicate, and now you’re a hero! If you’re having trouble finding all the fan locations in Clara’s Chapters, we can help you out.
