Prince of Persia The Lost Crown throws you into the fray early on. There’s no gradual increase in difficulty, it just starts hard and then builds from there. Your weapons alone won’t be enough to deal with the insane difficulty of this game.
However, to make things easier to manage early, I’ve put together some of the best early game amulets in Prince of Persia The Lost Crown. Hopefully, after reading this, things become manageable for you.
Prince of Persia The Lost Crown: What are the best early game amulets?
Amulets act as buffs that can be equipped and taken off at any Wak-Wak Tree. Each offers something to benefit Sargon, so as you play, it’s a good idea to experiment. Additionally, they can be upgraded to make their effects even more potent. To upgrade, you just need to go to the shopkeep in Haven with enough crystals to spend.Â
Note, that there are amulets in the game that require more than one slot, so make sure you’ve upgraded enough times to hold enough.

Best amulets to use at the start
Below, I’ll highlight what abilities I think work well during those early hours of the game.
- Arslan’s Glory: You’re going to be attacking a lot, and most of your fights will be close combat. This amulet increases your melee-based attacks a little whenever you are in full health. While being in full health may be hard to do, having this amulet equipped will give you an incentive to try to maintain full health.
- Four Royal Stars: Arslan’s Glory is great for keeping consistent attacks, but Four Royal Stars makes combo attacks easier to do. Once you launch an enemy into the air, the amulet comes into effect by making all your air-based attacks stronger. In other words, keep airborne, and you can down enemies in no time. Note, that this takes two slots, so make sure you have enough room or upgrade at Keheva’s Forge or right beside it at Magi’s Emporium in Haven.
- Blessing: It adds one bar to your health, which is needed especially in the early stages. That extra bar gives you a safety net to fight a little more aggressively. However, for it to recharge, you need to go to any Wak-Wak Tree.
- Wolf-Bride: This one is optional, and if you have room for it, I suggest to equip it. Every time you take a hit, some of that damage converts to Athra energy, which gives you access to even stronger powers. I’d say have this on when you understand how the combat works.Â
