Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 has a new mechanic called Recommended Weapons. Recommended Weapons rotate in and out periodically, apply additional XP in CoD Warzone, MW3, and MWZ, and are necessary to complete specific challenges.
What are all the Recommended Weapons in COD MW3, Warzone, MWZ?
Recommended Weapons are easily identified by going to the Gunsmith and seeing the weapons with the red flame icon. When you hover over a weapon with a red flame icon, a “Recommended Weapon” banner will unfurl on it which is further proof that that weapon is, in fact, one of the current Recommended Weapons.
Aside from bonus XP, it’s nice having a quick reference to what all the active Recommended Weapons are in Modern Warfare 3 so you don’t have to scroll through your Gunsmith. Note that Recommended Weapons are the same in Modern Warfare 3, Modern Warfare Zombies, and Warzone.
