Fiber is one of the few materials you need for crafting specific armor pieces. But where can you find fiber in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora?
Luckily with your trusty Hunter’s Guide, you can easily find yourself some fiber. Let’s go over where you can get your hands on fiber materials.
Avatar Frontiers of Pandora: How to get fiber
Similar to moss, fiber isn’t just one type of plant. You can find a few different kinds of flora in Pandora that fit into the fiber category. Where you can find fiber in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora is near water in the Bamboo Grove biome of the Kinglor Forest, or on great vines throughout the same forest.
Regarding the first location, that’s where you can find Lionberry. Once you’ve discovered this plant, it’ll appear in your Hunter’s Guide so you can pin and track it. Filter for “Fiber” under the materials category to find all fiber plants you’ve discovered.

The description for Lionberry also said rarer specimens are often found around River’s Embrace, south of the Silk Woods. Head to the location on the map above, and you should find some Lionberry. They’re at their best quality when harvested during the daytime.
Then there’s Vine Fiber, which I stumbled upon while on a different quest. Also best harvested during the day, you can find Vine Fiber hanging on great vines. You know those large chunky vines you can run and climb across? You’ll typically find them hanging there, where you can shoot them down to harvest.
You can then head to a crafting station to create waist armor. The higher quality of fiber you use, the better quality your armor will be. I’m sure that there are more types of fiber plants throughout the world map, but these are the first two I discovered.
