While Season of Discovery in World of Warcraft has players searching all over the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor for Runes, some players want to duke it out with one another. This is where the Warsong Gulch battleground comes in handy, and we’re going to run over where to queue for this in Classic.
WoW Classic Season of Discovery: How to queue for Warsong Gulch
For those who don’t already know, Warsong Gulch is one of the first PvP battleground maps that Blizzard has ever released for WoW, and it is still played in retail to this day, albeit a remastered version.
In Classic WoW, players will be able to queue up for this 10v10 match in certain locations around the map, and there’s no harm in trying the PvP aspect of the game after all.
There are five locations for players to queue in Warsong Gulch in WoW Classic SoD, and these are going to be the Battlemaster NPCs around some of the major cities.
They’re located at the following locations.
- Orgimmar
- Near the Warrior trainer, within the Valley of Honor
- Thunderbluff
- Near The Hunter Rise, alongside the north part of this city
- Undercity
- Near Sylvanas Windrunner’s Throne Room
- Stormwind
- Near Stormwind Keep
- Ironforge
- Near the Military Ward, towards the backside of this location

Warsong Gulch is one of the two major PvP events where players will be able to earn honor, the other one being the Battle for Ashenvale. With the level cap only being 25, no one in this game mode is going to be extremely overpowered, but this still doesn’t mean you’re not going to be tested against some powerful players.
We’ll have to wait and see if Blizzard intends to add any more PvP battleground maps in later iterations of Season of Discovery.
