Is it on Valve's handheld device?

With any game that’s available on Steam, players will ask the inevitable question of if you can play it on the Steam Deck, which is the same for Lethal Company.

This surprising hit game is great on PC, but is Lethal Company actually compatible with Valve’s handheld device? We’ll answer this question below.

Lethal Company: Is it Steam Deck compatible?

As of right now, you can play Lethal Company on your Steam Deck, but it’s not Verified, only Playable. Out of all the verification levels a game can have, Lethal Company is one step away from being fully Verified. This means that you should be able to play it without many issues, but it won’t be a perfect experience.

Currently, this co-op survival horror game doesn’t have native controller support. This means that you’d have to use a mouse and keyboard with your Steam Deck to play Lethal Company. If you enjoy docking your Steam Deck and playing games with a mouse and keyboard, then the game should run fine.

Unfortunately, some players online have been complaining about certain buttons on the Steam Deck not working with this game. In this Reddit post, one user in a reply said “I can’t get the game to acknowledge the right trigger on the controller”.

Perhaps with the growing popularity of this new game, the developer will consider bringing full controller support and have it Verified for the Steam Deck. In a similar vein, if you’re wondering whether Lethal Company is arriving on consoles or not, we also have an answer for you.

For now, the best way to play is on a proper PC with a mouse and keyboard. But if you test it out on your Steam Deck and it seems alright, you should be good to go.
