TTK, or time to kill, is a vital component of any shooter, and more so in Modern Warfare 3, players will want to know how it differs from past entries.
Modern Warfare 3: How Does TTK Work?
As noted above, the time to kill or TTK within CoD will be how long it takes to eliminate enemies or the number of shots one player needs to endure to die.
This has changed throughout the years, and we’ve seen some Call of Duty games with faster TTKs, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts and Modern Warfare 3 (2011).
However, within this year’s CoD, players have noticed that the TTK is slightly increased compared to years past, as players have more health at a staggering 150 health points.
Furthermore, this is obviously going to differ depending on the weapon and loadout you use in MW3, but generally, the TTK is still going to be around the same, with weapons such as the MCW taking a shorter amount of time to kill someone, compared to the BAS-P, for instance.

The damage point system, however, is basically how much damage per second or DPS your weapon is going to do in MW3, and this, as noted above, is going to directly affect the TTK in matches.
While players have vented their feelings regarding the increased TTK in Modern Warfare 3, there is always going to be a divide within the player base, thanks in large part to whether we want the TTK slower or faster.
While the damage point system isn’t going to matter in the grand scheme of Modern Warfare 3, we’re sure the TTK is going to be debated throughout the game’s cycle.
