Players Question Modern Warfare 3 Not Having A Platinum Trophy

Upset Players.

Trophies and achievements are a significant part of gaming for many players, and it’s often why we grind out games for as long as we do.

Modern Warfare 3 is now causing a divide within the community, as it shockingly does not offer a platinum trophy for players.

MW3 Does Not Feature A Platinum Trophy

As mentioned above, Modern Warfare 3 has been noted not to feature a platinum trophy on PlayStation 5; as PowerPyx has indicated, its listed as a DLC for Modern Warfare 2.

However, the case stands where it’ll offer a completionist trophy to players if they’re picking up the game on PS4, but this has caused quite a divide among players.

While it may seem like a simple trophy to some of us, this is a vital part of the gaming community, as fully completing games is not something everyone has the time or patience to do.

More often than not, completionists are chipping away at pesky challenges throughout these games, often having to play the game at higher difficulty levels or using unique tactics to solve particular challenges to obtain these trophies.

So, you can imagine that this has caused a stir within the gaming community, as players are not happy with Infinity Ward over this outcome, and some users on X have voiced their concerns.

Many have cited that this essentially confirms that the game is a DLC, with NBAKirkland stating, “So it was DLC all along.” Followed up by oliver_drk, who noted: “Critics were right. MW3 appears more DLC than full game. It seems this year it’s more challenging for Activision to keep their annual Call Of Duty release schedule.

It seems this could change when the entire game releases on November 10, but we aren’t too sure for the time being. However, fans are upset over this, and they rightfully have a reason to be, we could see Infinity Ward revert this in the future.
