The latest WoW expansion draws closer, and players worldwide are gearing up to take on the brand new Raid, Amidrassil, The Dream’s Hope.
In the meantime, Blizzard has released an excellent new set of Twitch drops that players can earn in patch 10.2.
WoW Twitch Drops for Patch 10.2
Twitch drops are all too common within games these days, and we’ve seen nearly every online title release some form of free content that players can earn.
Now, with perhaps the last patch of the expansion nearly here in 10.2, players will once again be able to earn two free items, and they are noted below thanks to data mining by WoWHead.com
Dottie the baby alpaca pet and the White Riding Camel mount will be the rewards players will seek out this month. Both made previous appearances in WoW.
Dottie was a promotional item for a charity campaign collaboration between Blizzard and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The White Riding Camel was a special item players obtained through the WoW-branded “Tomb of the Forgotten” trading card set.
How To Earn WoW Twitch Drops
We can assume Blizzard is once again going to require players to watch four hours of any WoW Dragonflight streams in November once the 10.2 patch releases on November 7.
In order to claim these, players will have to follow the outlined steps below.
- To earn Twitch drop rewards you must link your Battle.net account to your Twitch account and watch streams from eligible channels during the promotion. Required viewing times will vary depending on the promotion.
- When there is more than one reward offered for consecutive hours of watching, unlocked rewards must be claimed before credit towards further rewards can be earned.
- You can check on the progress you have earned towards any reward by going to your Drops Inventory page. From this page, you will also be able to claim any Drops rewards that you did not claim while watching the channel.
