Since PC Invasion was gratefully able to be apart of the Virtual Press Event, we have a ton of exciting information to share. Let’s dive right into some of the new updates and features coming to Apex Legends Season 19.

Apex Legends Season 19: New features and changes

Cross progression

Let’s get the most exciting part over with first. Cross progression will finally drop alongside the launch of Season 19. How this will work is that Respawn wants everyone to have one account to play everywhere. This means that they will require all players to merge their accounts into one if you have more than one.

As someone who has dozens of cosmetics and is high-leveled on my PlayStation account, but wants to play Apex Legends on PC, I can finally do that! If you have more than one Apex Legends account, you’ll have to merge them all into one. This means that all your cosmetics should merge as well.

Features And Updates In Apex Legends Season 19 Conduit

Conduit

A brand new Legend is arriving to the arena, and this time it’s a Support class. Conduit is Filipino, she has a very bright personality, and she’s talented with technology. A Monarch Titan battery powers her sporty exosuit, which has vibrant colors to reflect her personality.

While we already have a guide explaining all Conduit’s abilities, she’s essentially a Shield-boosting Support Legend. Her Passive allows her to catch up to her teammates quickly, her Tactical generates temporary shields for her allies, and her Ultimate launches shield-damaging barricades that also slow enemies.

Ranked mode

Ranked mode in Apex Legends Season 19 got some reworks and updates. To make matches more consistent, and to smooth the climbing ladder, there are now new rank rewards. Respawn is replacing the Skydive Trail rewards with new frames for your player card! The good thing about these frames is that they won’t expire.

There is also a new feature called Promotional Trials. To increase the emotional tension and to ensure you can’t be a passive player to rank up, Promotional Trials have you prove your skills with time-limited challenges to earn the ranking. Depending on the rank-up, the goals will differ. Hopefully, these changes will make ranking up super intense!

Features And Updates In Apex Legends Season 19 Storm Point

Storm Point

Now that the storm has cleared, this is the energized version of Storm Point. Sadly, the storm from the previous season severely damaged the infrastructure around the island. Once Season 19 drops, you’ll see a ton of new points of interest across Storm Point.

Locations like Watson’s Pylon, Echo HQ, Zeus Station, and the Coastal Camp are brand new. Respawn reworked some locations like Lightning Rod to connect better to the overall map, as well as the Forbidden Zone to remove Prowler Nests. All these changes should make Storm Point feel a little more tight and reduced in size, since the team worked on around 40% of the map!
