Before the new season comes on November 6, Clash Royale is getting a quality of life update which is the October 23 update. In this article, I will detail what the October 23 Clash Royale update has.

Clash Royale October 23 update, explained

The big thing that the October 23 Clash Royale update brings is an update to Bot Practice. Now, you can go into your Battle Log and practice against any deck you’ve played against. By doing this, you can see just how an enemy deck that decimated you performs and how to counter it.

Instead of beating Trainer Jonas over and over, the Training Camp Battles have more skilled bots to practice on. This is a great addition to test your decks before facing real players.

On top of the big Bot Practice update, the October 23 update brings other improvements and bug fixes. Here’s the full list of improvements and bug fixes now in Clash Royale:

  • Changes and improvements
    • Improved in-game communication about Evolutions & Elite Wild Cards through UI pop-ups
    • Removed King Level cap on trades of Elite cards
    • Removed Android external storage permissions
    • Stopped conversion of Magic Items to Elite Wild Cards if Elite Wild Card inventory is full
  • Bug fixes
    • Fix for Evolved Firecracker activating Evolved Barbarians’ Anger with each attack
    • Fix for crashes when watching Deck Explorer replays
    • Fixed card info screen of Elite Level Evolutions missing the Magic Item button
    • Fixed Troops facing the wrong way when pushed back
    • Fixed Lightning chests showing incorrect Elite Wild Card total
    • Fix for Player Profile not showing Evolved card properly in Battle Deck
    • Fixed issue with chests in Shop offers displaying incorrect Arena
    • Many UI fixes/improvements for foldable devices
    • Fixed the Game crashing when buying Elite Wild Cards from the shop while at the inventory limit
    • Removed Hoggy Bank gold being increased when players canceled a trade

While the October 23 update brought a lot of necessary improvements, there will be a content update on November 6 which will feature a new season, a new Champion, and a new Card Evolution.
