No, the title is not a spelling error. One of Roblox’s most popular experiences, Adopt Me!, has been rolling out Halloween updates for a while now, and its Halloween Begins release is one of the biggest to date.
The new update brings with it a whole host of content and limited cosmetics players can work to obtain. Almost all of the exclusive items available to players can’t be earned through simply playing the experience, however. You will need to collect a significant amount of Candy in order to acquire the spooky items you are looking to rock this Halloween season. Earning Candy Through Minigames
There are three minigames you can play in Adopt Me! to earn Candy as a reward. The first of these is Tile Skip, which can be seen above. In that game, you need to walk across a large tile board and reach the other side, while avoiding the fake tiles which will plummet to the chasm below, bringing you with them! As you can see in the screenshot, there are checkpoints (the star) that will let you respawn there and help you make it to the end. Successfully finding the entire correct path will give you 1,500 Candy while escaping the maze with your team intact rewards 3,000 Candy.
Chickatrice Says is like the playground game Simon Says, with a twist! In the game, there are a number of different colored platforms for you to stand on. You need to jump onto the correct platform that the Chickatrice pet calls out, since all of the others will fall down — alongside you! Just playing this game nets you 1,500 Candy, while every round you survive gives you 200 further Candy!
The final minigame is called Spooky Shuffle, and in it, you need to avoid three large cannons that are aiming to blast you off the platform you’re standing on and into toxic slime. Look for red marks on the platform, since that’s where the next projectiles are coming in! Your rewards will reflect how long you stay on the platform (not counting respawn time), as well as the Candy you pick up scattered around the small platform.
Buying Candy Through Robux
There is another way for players to accumulate Candy in the game, especially if they don’t want to spend all their time vying for the currency in Adopt Me!’s minigames. We recommend giving the games a shot, though, since the rewards are pretty good for the amount of time it takes to complete a match in any of the three. As you can see in the screenshot above, you are able to buy a certain amount of Candy with your Robux, and the deals only get better the more you buy!
