One of the biggest inclusions in Spider-Man 2 is the appearance of Venom. Moreover, we have seen some footage regarding our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man wearing the classic black suit and being kind of a jerk. When do you get the Symbiote Suit in Spider-Man 2? Let’s find out.
Spider-Man 2: How to get the Symbiote Suite
While for a big part of the main story – and spoiler alert – the symbiote remains attached to Harry Osborn, making him the Venom of the Insomniac Games Spider-Man series, trailers before the game release showed us Peter Parker sporting the classic Symbiote Suit in Spider-Man 2, confirming that the symbiote will indeed attach to Spider-Man. When exactly does this happen? Well, you will have to play the main story for quite a bit. You will have to get to the 15th main mission called “Good Men”. This is a very important mission due to the events that transpire within it. Just prepare yourself to make a bunch of stealth takedowns and expect some major characters to engage in combat.
Once you complete the mission, Peter will be attached to the Symbiote Suit for a while. While you can free roam and web-sling with any other suit you might have unlocked before, Peter will sport the Symbiote Suite during main missions, mainly due to narrative reasons given the burden that having the symbiote with you carries.

It is interesting to see how Insomniac has adapted the symbiote storyline in their series of games. While Peter Parker is the first host to the symbiote in the comics, in the Insomniac games, he becomes the second one. Remember that the second Venom host in the comics is none other than Eddie Brock, who becomes the ultimate Venom host. You can expect a lot of drama to happen in the game regarding the Peter Parker and Venom symbiosis.
