Call of Duty’s The Haunting event comes packed with tons of apparently spooky content. Even with the scary season in full swing, nothing can prepare players for the most horrifying thing in the game — game-breaking bugs. Warzone is no stranger to technical issues, so you should expect problems to arise during The Haunting Event. One bug that’s been reported by players is the Bombmaker’s Blend Barter in DMZ. To get right to the point and after scouring the many subreddits, there doesn’t seem to be a fixable solution. However, uninstalling and reinstalling Warzone might solve the problem. But even with that, nothing is certain. So for now, we may have to wait till Infinity Ward puts out a statement or a patch to fix the bug. 

Many players have stated that even after doing everything correctly such as finding the Ancient Gun Oil, GPU, $200K, and Bombmaker’s screwdriver, the issue persists. If you plan on going from match to match and collecting these items one at a time, you could face the same problem.

Why is the Bombmaker’s Blend important?

To get the Serpentine Skin which is exclusive to DMZ, trading for the Blend in the Buy Station is one of the steps. So if you’re one of the many players looking to get this skin, you’re going to face this bug. However, at the time of writing this guide, it might not be universal. So you may be lucky enough to have it work. If not, as mentioned, you’ll have to play the waiting game.
