Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost features limited-time weapons and introduces a new weapon every year. So far, we have Horror Story Auto Rifle, Jurassic Green Pulse Rifle, Mechabre Sniper Rifle, and now the Acosmic Grenade Launcher. If you want to save time grinding in Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost, here are the best weapons and their God Rolls.

What Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost weapons are worth God Rolls?
- PvE Jurassic Green God Roll
- PvP Mechabre God Roll
- PvE Acosmic God Roll
- PvP Jurassic Green God Roll
- PvE Mechabre God Roll
- PvE Horror Story God Roll
- PvP Acosmic God Roll
- PvP Horror Story God Roll
Out of all the Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost weapons that are worth grinding a God Roll for, I would say it is Jurassic Green. It’s great in PvE. If PvP is more your thing, focus on getting a Mechabre PvP God Roll. It’s easily the next best Festival of the Lost weapon.
Auto Rifles are fun to use and Horror Story has some solid perk options for PvE. I wouldn’t recommend it for PvP as there are many better options, but it’s not bad by any means.
Acosmic is the new Void Heavy Grenade Launcher and it’s just okay. It’s pretty good in PvE if you don’t have a Regnant God Roll and it can be good in PvP, but in both game types, there are better options.
Jurassic Green PvP and PvE God Roll
Based on my testing, the best Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost weapon is Jurassic Green. The PvE Jurassic Green God Roll, which includes lots of great perk options including Multikill Clip and Heal Clip and Subsistence and Incandescent makes Jurassic Green an amazing PvE Pulse Rifle. It has a Rapid-Fire Frame which doesn’t hit as hard, but it shines in PvE.
The Jurassic Green PvP God Roll isn’t bad either. Rangefinder and Frenzy are the way to go as it’ll increase your damage and make you a menace while constantly in combat.
Mechabre PvP and PvE God Roll
Mechabre was introduced in Festival of the Lost 2022 and it stands as a solid Sniper Rifle for PvP and PvE. Mechabre’s Aggressive Frame shines in PvP, especially with the God Roll that includes Snapshot Sights and Opening Shot. With these perks, you’ll hit hard and quickly.
For the Mechabre PvE God Roll, I suggest Triple Tap and Vorpal Weapon if you want to use it against bosses and Clown Cartridge and High Ground for general PvE skirmishes.
Acosmic PvP and PvE God Roll
While I’m not too impressed with Acosmic since Regnant is a better version of it, if you don’t have a Regnant God Roll, Acosmic is worth getting. Check out our Acosmic God Roll guide for a full breakdown.
The best PvE Acosmic God Roll consists of Impulse Amplifier and Destabilizing Rounds because you’ll shoot high-velocity projectiles and they will cause Void explosions to enemies that don’t blow up on contact. The PvP Acosmic God Roll isn’t as impressive but Field Prep and Repulsor Brace are your best options.
Horror Story PvP and PvE God Roll
In my opinion, Horror Story is the worst Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost weapon. It has a Precision Frame which is weak on Auto Rifles. That said, it’s not a terrible gun if you have the best God Roll.
The Horror Story PvE God Roll needs Demolitionist and Adrenaline Junkie. Adrenaline Junkie can also be switched out for Target Lock or Headstone if you’re running Stasis. The best PvP Horror Story God Roll needs Dynamic Sway and Target Lock.
