While you might want to collect the most powerful weapons, the best-looking space suits, and the most powerful ships in Starfield, it is totally acceptable to take a break from time to time and just go furniture shopping. And by furniture shopping, I mean crafting the furniture yourself from scratch. Here is how to get Luxury Textile in Starfield.
Starfield: How to get Luxury Textile
Purchase Luxury Textile from a vendor
If you don’t mind some randomness in your daily Starfield ventures, then you can get Luxury Textile from the main vendors across the galaxy. When I mention randomness I’m referring to the fact that each of these vendors will have a randomized inventory that will change every 48 hours. You can just sit and wait for 48 hours at each of these locations or travel from one to the other. In my case, I found Luxury Textile at the UC Exchange, located at Cydonia, Mars. Here is a list of some potential vendors you can visit to acquire Luxury Textile:
- UC Distribution Center at New Atlantis, Jemison.
- Jemison Mercantile at New Atlantis, Jemision.
- Shepherd’s General Store at Akila City, Akila.
- Zuri’s Essentials at The Key, Suvorov.
- Mining League at Neon City, Volii Alpha.

Collect Luxury Textile in the wild
Now, if you have a powerful weapon and a more than decent grav drive, then you can visit the Schrodinger system. No, we won’t have to deal with any cats here. The system is located just below Kryx, north of Porrima. If you wonder why you can’t travel there in just a jump, it is because the star systems are distributed in three dimensions, and more often than not, depth will be the main factor for your ship’s ability to grav jump to their location.
Be sure to land on the mountain area of Schrodinger III. Once you do, you will see a fox-bat hybrid, called a Swarming…wait for it… Foxbat. They surely didn’t have any trouble naming this thing. Anyway, shoot the Swarming Foxtrot, and once you deal with it, search for the Luxury Textile. You will need to pack a punch since these creatures are level 50. Go with Sarah Morgan as your companion and you will both deal with these Foxbats in no time.
Once you collect your Luxury Textile, you will be able to use it as a material for crafting. As you can imagine, these will serve for Decoration 3 outpost structures, such as Luxury Couches, and the occasional Sofa. Be ready to feel comfy while staying on a planet with no atmosphere and extreme radiation that will totally not turn you into the Hulk.
