Honkai: Star Rail players will be glad to know that three new playable characters are joining the fray in the next version. The first is a 4-star character, Guinaifen, who is a Fire Nihility character. Guinafen deals high damage with her Fire DoTs, and also applies a debuff that increases the damage enemies take. Meanwhile, we’re also getting two new 5-star characters, Topaz & Numby and Jingliu. Topaz & Numby is a 5-star Fire Hunt character while Jingliu is a 5-star Ice Destruction character. Both characters will deal significant damage, so they are a good idea to pull for if you still need a new DPS character. Seele will also be returning in a new re-run banner, allowing players who missed her the first time to try getting her another go.

New events

As with every Honkai: Star Rail update, each new version also brings some new events for players to enjoy. These events often give tons of rewards, including high amounts of Stellar Jade, so you should definitely check them out if you need a little more padding in your wallet. One of these events is the Aetherium Wars event, where you’ll participate in an offline Interastral Tournament on Jarilo-VI for the newest popular game in the Honkai universe, Aetherium Wars.

A new Simulated Universe event, Planar Infinity, will also be added to the game. In this event, you’ll progress through the Simulated Universe with multiplied blessings and Curios. Fortunately for players, there will also be a login event where players can earn 10 free Star Rail Passes.

Version 1.4 will be expanding Honkai: Star Rail’s universe with new playable areas and gameplay experiences, such as the Old Weapons Testing Ground and the Pillars of Creation. Players will also be able to enjoy a new “story recap” feature, which is essentially a transcript for players to review any dialogue they missed or skipped over. Honkai: Star Rail will also feature new events for the Cavern of Corrosion and Simulated Universe to get double the relics.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.3 is available now.
