Call of Duty: Black Ops ‘shooting for’ (arf) May modding

Still playing Call of Duty: Black Ops on the PC, but wish you had some modding tools? Hang on until May.
Treyarch’s PC developer arm has a twitter account, and that twitter account has spoken: “We are shooting for mod tools release in May.”

It is unconfirmed whether you’ll be able to mod the game to make map packs cheaper. But who cares? You’ll probably be able to make your own maps instead.
Tim didn’t have much love for the single-player when he reviewed it back in November of last year, but his interest in multiplayer nudged up the score.
