Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are games that let you catch a multitude of different Pokémon from the various different regions that the series has let you adventure through over the years. From Kanto to Galar, there’s Pokémon from every region to catch in these entries into the series, with only more being added over time. Much like the game that came before it, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have added more Pokémon with the DLC updates that are available for the game. This means there’s new Pokémon to grab and knowing how to evolve all of them can be a bit difficult, as there’s now over a thousand Pokémon to remember and keep updated on. Therefore, trying to complete your dex in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can be difficult if you can’t catch them in the wild. Here’s how to evolve Graveler in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet – The Teal Mask DLC.

Once you’ve either caught a Graveler from the wild or you’ve evolved your Geodude into Graveler at level 25, the next step is to evolve into Golem. You can actually evolve Graveler into Golem immediately after acquiring Graveler due to the nature of its evolution method. You’re going to need to trade Graveler to evolve it into Golem in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
You can do this in a few different ways, whether this is trading with a friend through online or local connections, or even using one of the community methods like the one highlighted by YouTuber Austin John Plays.
Is there a disadvantage to evolving Graveler early?
Not at all, after level 24 Graveler and Golem learn exactly the same moves at the same level in Generation 9, meaning that you should be able to still get great moves like Earthquake at level 40 and Stone Edge at level 54 regardless of whether your Pokémon is a Graveler or a Golem. So feel free to evolve your Graveler at any point in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available for purchase from the Nintendo Store.
