If you’ve read my other guides about Starfield on PC Invasion, you can probably see that I enjoy the flying aspect of the game. From spending more than I should in my Star Eagle to getting into any sort of space engagement in any way I can, I might have found my niche. The problem with space combat is that you really have to go out of your way to find these moments. In turn, you may not be able to rank up your Piloting skill as much. But, what if I told you there’s a method in Starfield that allows you to farm space combat — and that is by using a Flight Simulator? If you want to know where to find the Flight Simulator in Starfield, I suggest reading on.Â
Starfield:Â Where to find the Flight Simulator
For starters, you can’t just randomly do it, you need to start the Supra Et Ultra quest. The good thing is that this quest is available early on in Starfield. Visit the MAST building on New Atlantis, and get invited to join the UC Vanguard Faction by an NPC named John Tuala.Â
Once you start this faction mission, head to the Orientation Hall and accept an agreement. After you’ve done this, the Flight Simulator will be available to you.
The Flight Simulator has a total of six tiers of ships you’re going to face at once. Below is a snapshot of what each tier will have.
- Tier 1: One level 32 ship
- Tier 2: Two level 20 ships
- Tier 3: Two level 38 ships
- Tier 4: One level 44 ship
- Tier 5: Four level 46 ships
- Tier 6: Five ships, each with different levels.Â
Doing the Flight Simulator can be a smart move because it can help rank up your Piloting skill faster.
Completing the Flight Simulator
First, you have to beat at least the first three tiers to pass the test. Once you beat the first tier, you’ll unlock simulated controls, which give you upgrades to complete the following tiers even faster.Â
Starfield is available now via the Xbox Game Store and Game Pass.
