Freminet is a main DPS unit that excels in dealing Physical DMG. Physical DPS characters are rare in this game, so Freminet is a rare type of character you can build in Genshin Impact. As a Physical DPS character, Freminet works best with other Cryo and Electro characters, as they grant him access to the Superconduct reaction which reduces Physical RES on enemies. This increases overall Physical DMG. Freminet also has a unique passive that increases his damage after inflicting Shatter, which happens when you break enemies out of a Frozen state. As a result, Freminet has some specific teammates he needs to excel.

  • First, pick a strong Electro unit to trigger Superconduct. Fischl, Yae Miko, and Kuki Shinobu all excel in applying Electro against enemies. Fischl and Yae Miko deal strong Electro DMG, while Kuki Shinobu gives your team extra healing and sustain. Pick whoever fits your team.
  • Second, you want to add another Cryo character. Rosaria is one of Freminet’s best teammates, particularly if you have her Constellation 6, as it reduces the Physical RES of enemies by 20%. Mika is a character designed to support Physical DPS characters, but as Freminet is a Claymore character, Mika’s ATK SPD buffs are not as strong on him. Still, Mika is a great choice as a buffer for Freminet.
  • Finally, you want to add a Hydro character to your team. Xingqiu or Yelan is recommended. You’ll want to inflict Freeze on the enemy to trigger Freminet’s passive, so adding Xingqiu and Yelan as Hydro applicators will optimize Freminet’s damage output.

With these tips in mind, here are some example teams for you to use:

  • Freminet / Fischl / Rosaria / Xingqiu
  • Freminet / Kuki Shinobu / Mika / Yelan
  • Freminet / Yae Miko / Mika / Xingqiu
