The Shadow Siege event in Warzone offers players the chance to earn a new Assault Rifle for use in all modes. Rather than being a throwaway weapon, the M13C is a solid contender in mid-range combat. However, the rifle does have a few problems right out of the box, so we need specific attachments to iron those out. In this guide, I’ll show you the best M13C Loadout in Warzone 2 DMZ, including some flex slots to tailor the gun to your play style.Â
Best M13C Loadout in Warzone 2 DMZ
The M13C can put players down very quickly thanks to its solid rate of fire, but there’s one crucial stat we need to manage. The M13C suffers from heavy recoil, and although it doesn’t kick straight up, it shakes all over the place. Our main objective with the build is to stabilize this beast.
These are the best attachments for the M13C, along with my reasoning:
- Muzzle: XTEN Havoc 90
- Laser: VLK LZR 7MW
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Optic: SZ Holotherm
- Magazine: 60 Round Magazine
First, let’s start with the Muzzle. The XTEN Havoc 90 improves Vertical and Horizontal Recoil Control, something the M13C desperately needs. I’m usually a fan of silencers like the Echoless-80, but the recoil makes this weapon best used loud and proud.
Lasers are always a point of contention. The VLK LZR 7MW gives us better ADS Speed and Stability, but the laser is always visible. If that’s an issue, the STOVL Tac Laser offers similar buffs, and your opponents can’t see it either.
If you’ve checked out our other build guides, you’ll know I’m a massive fan of the FTAC Ripper 56. This attachment offers huge buffs to Recoil Stability, Aiming Idle Stability, and Hipfire Accuracy. This Underbarrel is one of the best in the game and works well on the M13C.
What about those flex slots?
I like the 60 Round Magazine, as I can engage multiple targets without worrying about a few missed shots. The big downside is how long it takes to reload if the gun is empty, as it’s much longer than the other magazines. If micromanagement is an issue, go with the 45 Round Magazine instead.
Finally, the Optic is a personal preference, but I switched to the SZ Holotherm a while ago and have never looked back. I love the SZ Holotherm for the improved target acquisition, and the thermal vision is a huge plus with how common Smoke Grenades are. The orange hue takes a while to get used to, so go with your favorite for this slot.Â
What secondary weapon should I use?
The M13C is very versatile and pairs nicely with a Sniper Rifle. Check out our ‘One Shot Sniper Rifle‘ guide if you haven’t built one yet. If you want to use the M13C as your primary weapon, you can’t go wrong with the FTAC Siege secondary. We have a build guide for this monster machine pistol, and it’s viable for almost all content in the game.
