How to get Assassin’s Dagger in Remnant 2

Remnant 2 is going to leave you guessing no matter how smart you think you are. There are a million little hidden secrets buried within its ever-changing walls. Gunfire Games decided to use a procedurally generated layout for their maps, ensuring that every playthrough is unique. This also means that writing a guide for anything at all is rather difficult. If you’re not getting the required dungeons or layouts, it’s usually because it simply isn’t present in your game. However, if you’re lucky enough to get the Council Chamber in Remnant 2, you can follow the quest to get the Assassin’s Dagger; if not, it’s time to re-roll the game.

How to get Assassin’s Dagger in Remnant 2

For this to be possible, you first need to be able to access the Council Chamber in Losomn. This is accessed through one of the glowing doors around the Palace. These can be opened with the Magic Quill. If you unlock the Council Chamber, you can continue on with the Assassin’s Dagger mission in Remnant 2.

Assassin’s Dagger mission

Once you have entered the council chamber, approach the fairy and begin the Council Chamber questline. You will be asked to begin an investigation into who killed the king. Various clues around the area will reveal the culprit.

• Explore the area in Remnant 2 until you find a mirror that brings you to the mirrored world of the Council Chamber.
• Head back to the room where the original quest was given and kill the enemies within.
• Once you have killed them, collect the three tablets from the bottom of the pillars at the far end of the room.
• Look into the floor to see the reflected pillars. You will notice that they have the tablets still in them. Slot the ones in the mirrored world to match the ones in the reflected one.
• Then you can now move to the newly opened door behind these pillars to acquire the Assassin’s Dagger in Remnant 2.
• Head to the dead king at the end of the room and climb up behind him. You will find the Assassin’s Seal and the Assassin’s Dagger lodged in his neck.

Choices

Finally, you now have the Remnant 2 Assassin’s Dagger. You can do one of two things with it, so decide carefully.

• Bring the Assassin’s Dagger to Nimue in Remnant 2. She will craft the Assassin’s Blade for you.
• Check the bottom of the Dagger and accuse the correct council member of murder. This will award you with the Ornate Blade in Remnant 2.
