How to get Enigma in Remnant 2

Learn the location of Enigma in Remnant 2.

Enigma is one of the best Handguns in Remnant 2. While the damage isn’t amazing, Enigma is exceptional because it auto aims, can hit multiple enemies at once, and deals consistent Shock and Overload damage. Plus, it’s not that hard to get. Here is how to unlock Enigma in Remnant 2.

Where to find Enigma in Remnant 2

Enigma in Remnant 2 is found in Fractured Ingress in Labyrinth. Now the worlds you get after completing a different world all come down to RNG, so you may not get Labyrinth until your third or fourth world, but it’s usually found right after Yaesha and N’Erud.

After spawning in, you need to go left of the giant portal and then take a right. Get to the smaller portal here and wait for the right portal to appear. The purple portal cycles through different locations, and the one we are looking for is the one with a floating rock and a pinkish-white empty space with white lines.

Enter the portal and notice how the direction of gravity changes. You’ll land on a rock that appears out of nowhere. Continue forward on the rock bridges and defeat the enemies in this area. Behind the central pillar is a purple item called the Cipher Rod — pick it up.

After you’ve done this, enter the portal and return to the checkpoint. From here, return to Ward 13. Talk to Ava McCabe and craft the Enigma with one Cipher Rod, seven Lumenite Crystal, and 1,000 Scrap. Trust me, it’s worth it.

What makes Enigma amazing is that it deals great AoE damage by shooting out electrical streams that can jump to all nearby enemies. The damage is reduced for each enemy the electrical stream jumps to, but Enigma is still a unique weapon that is the best of its kind at dispatching groups of enemies.

Enigma comes with the Chaos Driver Weapon Mod. Chaos Driver allows you to deploy electrified rods that tether to other rods. Enemies that run through the electrified rods take 50 Shock damage every second and even more than that if there are more rods. It’s no Nightfall, but Enigma is an incredibly good weapon.
