As you play through Remnant 2, you’ll discover a giant bird somewhere in Yaesha. Though this bird can be found blocking a purple valuable in different areas, since everything is procedurally generated, there is only one way to move this bird. To help you get past the giant bird in Remnant 2, I’ve read articles, watched videos, and accomplished this task myself to give you the true answer.
Note: If you’re exploring Remnant 2 and can’t get past the Red Prince, I highly recommend checking out our guide to help you through it. It’s a tough battle, but you can do it with a bit of help.
How to move the big blue bird in Remnant 2
Though the chatter online seems to differ in how exactly to get past the giant bird in Remnant 2, I know from experience exactly how to move the big blue bird. The real trigger to move the giant bird in Remnant 2 is pulled when you randomly hear the bird flap, caw, and fly away.
For me, this happened while I was exploring the area. I was halfway to the next area, which was called The Widow’s Court for me, and while I was walking forward and defeating monsters — you know, normal Remnant 2 stuff — I heard the sound of giant wings flapping and the cry of a large bird.
In my research, I found that other players only triggered the bird to fly away after defeating the nearby boss called Mother Mind. I have yet to find Mother Mind in my campaign, so that isn’t always the trigger for everyone. Others reported defeating Mother Mind and the giant bird still sitting there. If that’s the case, try reloading into the area and then walking toward another area. You can also try revisiting the Mother Mind arena and walking around — some players said that works too.
Just like everything else in Remnant 2, the thing that gets the bird to move is going to be different for everyone. However, the techniques mentioned above all worked for various players with various campaigns. The only thing that remains true for everyone is the flapping of wings and the sound of a bird’s caw, so keep your ears peeled for that.
Once you hear the bird fly away, you can return to the nest and grab the charm. In all my research and personal experience, everybody seems to get the Kuri Kuri Charm here. Climb up into the nest and snag the charm.
The Kuri Kuri Charm increases your Relic use speed by 10% for every 10% of your health that’s gone, and it grants a 7% chance of not consuming the Relic at all. This is really great for Dragon Hearts, the main source of healing depending on your Archetype.
