How to get Ambitious Ends Hairstyle in FF XIV

It’s rough being the Warrior of Light and shouldering the burden of keeping Eorzea safe, but sometimes, it pays to let your hair down. If you take that literally, there’s no better way to do it than with a brand-new hairstyle. Patch 6.45 added a ton of new content into the game, including the Ambitious Ends hairstyle. I’ll be honest; I’m a fan of helmets (how could a Dragoon say no to the headgear?), but if you’re not, let me show you how to get the Ambitious Ends Hairstyle in FF XIV.

How to get Ambitious Ends Hairstyle in FF XIV

The Variant Dungeon is technically ‘endgame’ content, so you’ll need the Endwalker Expansion and a level 90 character. Traditionally, content of this style is permanent, so if you’re not at the endgame just yet, you can still get the rewards when you get here.

Fortunately, the Ambitious Ends Hairstyle is easy to obtain and only requires 6 Rokkon Potsherds. You can get these from the new Variant Dungeon, and you earn them each time you defeat a boss. It will usually take two runs to make the 6 Rokkon Potsherds you require, and once you have them, visit the vendor in Old Sharlayan. You can find them by the Scholars Harbour (pictured below).

You can beat the Dungeon solo or with a group. If you prefer to run Dungeons alone, I recommend the Variant Rampart skill, which offers damage mitigation. This is a great skill if you’re a Healer or DPS but feel free to pick something else if you’re a Tank. If you’re not a Healer, Variant Cure will help keep you alive as it offers a decent burst of heals.
