Best team comps in Exoprimal: Assault, Tank, Support

Synergy is the name of the game.

Exoprimal is a team-focused game, which means many things have to be working in tandem with one another. The synergy between all teammates needs to be strong enough to withstand the hordes of dinosaurs threatening the team. An important aspect of Expormial is the team composition, if everyone in the party is fulfilling their roles, any obstacle will be easier to avoid. Below I’ll go over the team comps I’ve found that work in Exoprimal including the Assault, Tank, and Support class. Maybe after reading this guide, you’ll have a better time dealing with dinosaurs and other players.

The party size in the dino-shooter is five and you won’t be locked out if someone else uses a suit you want. So there can be multiple players with the same suit. However, I don’t recommend doing that because you need other members to be in roles to have a higher chance of winning. So use the information below as a guide on how to build a good team.

Heavy Fire team comp

  • Barrage
  • Deadeye
  • Nimbus
  • Krieger
  • Witchdoctor

Exorprimal has a lot of moments where hordes of dinosaurs appear, and this team makeup can easily manage that. First, Barrage being one of the best exosuits in the game can do massive damage to multiple enemies. After, you have Krieger and Deadeye putting the supplemental damage and creating breathing room. If things go south, Witchdoctor and Nimbus can offer double healing. When things are working together, this makeup can easily wipe away any enemy.

Crowd Control team comp

  • Roadblock
  • Skywave
  • Zephyr or Vigilan
  • Krieger
  • Witchdoctor

Some modes in Exoprimal will have you defending a point all while holding off the enemy at the same time. If you have suits like Krierger, Skywave, Zephyr, and Roadblock, you can easily do this. Skywave can slow down enemies, Krieger and Roadblock can push them back, then Zephyr can come in and do massive damage. While this is happening, Skywave and Witchdoctor are healing with less effort, because the enemies won’t attack as much. This a tricky comp, but once you find the rhythm, you’ll be a threat. However,  you can change exosuits mid-match if you opt to use Vigilant. This suit can help Krieger hold a position down and keep enemies away with its powerful sniper.

Mobility team comp

  • Skywave
  • Zephyr
  • Murasame
  • Nimbus
  • Deadeye

In order to survive longer, and not die — movement needs to be your best friend. This team comp helps with that, and as long everyone is close to each other, fights can be over quickly. With Deadeye, Zephyr, and Murasame zipping around and putting in damage, they can make the enemy focus on them. Skywave can enhance the team’s movement by slowing down the enemy. Once this is done, the assault suits can quickly dispatch them. In order to get this composition to work, all members must be close proximity to one another.
