Don’t you hate it when you’re chewing through Sushi, and you chomp straight into a piece of buckshot? Well, so do the customers in Dave the Diver. As you catch the fish in this charming underwater 8-bit masterpiece from MINTROCKET, you will be awarded better scores depending on how gentle the capture of the fish is. The rankings for each fish go from a measly one start to a godlike three. For the best prices and best recipes, only the three-star fish are suitable. Here’s how to catch three-star sharks in Dave the Diver.
How to catch 3 Star sharks in Dave the Diver
To catch a three-star shark in Dave the Diver, you’re going to need to have progressed past the point of the Tuna Party event. This event will award you with the ability to use the Salvage Drone. This drone allows Dave the Diver to extract big fish, like the shark, without any damage. Recovering fish with the drone grants the three-star award.
To actually get the sharks ready for extraction, you will first need to subdue them enough for them to be hauled away by Dave the Diver. I personally recommend the Sleeper Sniper. This long-range, high-damage weapon has a 40% chance of putting a fish to sleep instantly. A sleeping shark can easily be whisked away by the Salvage Drone. Then the resulting meat will be ranked at three stars.
Another method for capturing a three-star shark in Dave the Diver is to use Steel Net traps. These can be bought from the shop on board your boat before you dive. However, they’re not always available, so it isn’t the most reliable method. So, you simply place a trap down in the path of a shark and bait it into it. Once the shark is caught, you can easily whisk its three-star carcass out to the restaurant.
